The Leprosy Mission

On Sunday 6th April we held our annual Leprosy Mission Service. Stephen McCartney from The Leprosy Mission NI was our guest preacher. Stephen shared stories of how leprosy impacts millions of lives around the world. The Leprosy Mission are working to eliminate leprosy as well as supporting people who suffer from this debilitating disease.

Hobby Hub help in South Africa

In March, Hazel Megahey delivered hats, cardigans and blankets to Care Bags with Love in Knysna, South Africa. Many of the items were knitted by knitters at our Thursday Hobby Hub. Annual General Meeting

We held our Annual General Meeting on Monday 3rd March. Our Clerk of Session, Treasurer and Property Convenor presented the annual reports for the year 2024 and these were adopted. Pancake Breakfast

A big thank you to everyone for supporting the Kidszone and Mission Committee Pancake Breakfast on Sunday 2nd March. Our chefs had a busy morning keeping up with demand as everyone enjoyed platefuls of delicious pancakes. An amazing £335.00 was raised for the NI Children’s Hospice. Thank you.

Kidszone News

The boys and girls in Kidszone decided to use their collection money to buy items for Storehouse North Down. They made a shopping list of things they thought families and children need or would like to receive in a Christmas hamper. They did a great job with their shopping! Well done to the boys

Praise Service

First Aid

A number of members and leaders from our church clubs and organisations completed First Aid Awareness Training on Saturday 26th October. A Right Royal Afternoon

Our Mission Committee hosted a wonderful Afternoon Tea on Saturday 19th October to raise funds for Open Doors.
