PASTORAL CARE

Groomsport

reflecting god's unconditional love

Pastoral Care is central to our church life as we endeavour to reflect Christ’s unconditional love by caring for one another just as Jesus commanded “love one another as I have loved you”.

We recognise that everyone, at different times in their lives need the assistance, help and support of others.

Each week our ministerial team Rev Paul Dalzell and Rev Denis Campbell make numerous pastoral visits in homes, hospitals, residential and nursing homes or arrange to meet in our church premises.

Alongside the ministerial team the congregation is divided into Districts which are visited on a regular basis by an Elder and Elder’s district assistant.

Pastoral Care/Visiting Team

We have a dedicated Pastoral Care/Visiting Team who visit and provide practical help to individuals and families at times when they require additional support. This team can assist in many different ways, for example regular visiting, organising transport to Sunday Worship or a lift to an appointment, helping with shopping or providing a meal.

If you can volunteer a little time to help and support others in practical ways, please speak to the minister or make contact via the church office.

If you or if you know of someone in the church or local community who would benefit from a visit or some additional practical support and assistance, please contact our ministers or Pastoral Care Team.
