The Church Office is now open until 2.45pm on a Tuesday and Wednesday, and 1.45pm on Friday. For this week only, the office will open on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Please note the slight change in days.

Tai Chi Beginners Classes continue in The Hub on Monday mornings at 10.00am. An Improvers Class begins this Thursday 19th September at 2.30pm and runs until 24th October. Cost again is £6 per class.

Wednesday Private Prayer:- Our church is open for private prayer and quiet reflection every Wednesday morning. If you have any pastoral needs, please contact our minister Rev. Paul Dalzell or leave a message with our church secretary.
Storehouse:- Gifts for Storehouse can be left in to the church on Wednesday morning (10 – 12 noon) or before Sunday Worship. There is a specific need at present for the following items: tinned meats, meals, snacks, and tomatoes. Tomato ketchup and brown sauce, jam, Fray Bentos pies, long life milk, toothpaste, size 7 nappies, biscuits, and long life bags. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
‘Wednesday Welcome’:- The Hub is open every Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 12 noon. Anyone is welcome to call in for a cup of coffee/tea and light refreshments. This is a chance to make new friends or just relax with a book or newspaper. A warm welcome is assured.

Choir Practices continue this Thursday evening.

Something New! Hobby Hub continues this Thursday, 2-4pm in the Hub. This is an opportunity for fun and fellowship while sharing interests and skills in a safe and relaxed setting. Please come along and support this new venture. Feel free to invite family and friends. We pray this will evolve and grow in the coming months.

Saturday Coffee Mornings: Our summer coffee mornings are continuing to be
held in The Hub every Saturday morning from 10:30 – 12 noon.
Come and enjoy tea/coffee and scones and bring your friends! Specialty coffees are also available from our new dispensing machine in the foyer. However, there will be no coffee morning this Saturday 28th September as there is a road race through the village and the roads will be closed that morning. Thank you.

Coffee/Tea after Sunday Worship: We will have another opportunity to meet after church for tea/coffee and chat next Sunday 29th September. Everyone is invited over to The Hub immediately after worship for this short time of fellowship together. It is perhaps a chance for us to get to know some of our fellow members a bit better. Visitors are particularly welcome, and we look forward to meeting you. Thank you.

For PW ladies
An invitation was received from the PW of 1st Presbyterian Church Bangor to a visitor’s evening on Tuesday 15th October 2024 at 7.30pm in the church.
The speaker will be a representative of the Prison Fellowship (PFNI). This is one of the PW’s special home projects for the coming year. If you plan to attend, please advise Jennifer Boyd as the church would like numbers for catering purposes.

A Right Royal Afternoon Tea – Hosted by the Mission Committee in the Archie Agnew Room on Saturday 19th October at 2:30 p.m. Guest Speaker –
Rev. Derek Kerr. Please come along and support this event which should be a fun day. Rev Derek Kerr is a renowned royal enthusiast and entertaining speaker. Proceeds will be in aid of ‘Open Doors’ supporting persecuted Christians around the world. Tickets available from members of the mission committee or church office- Price £10. If anyone has a spare cake stand that we could borrow for the day, please let us know. Thank you.
