Tea/Coffee after church this morning: The Guides invite everyone to join them for tea/coffee and light refreshments served in The Archie Agnew Hall, after our service this morning. You are all welcome to this time of fellowship together.

PW: Following the success of the Scarecrow Game last year we are playing again, tomorrow evening, Monday 24th February at 7.30pm. Please come along and enjoy yourselves for fun, chat and information about the World Day of Prayer.

Pickleball Class continues on a Monday evening at 8.15pm, after BB, in the Walter Nelson Hall. Also on Thursday afternoons 2.30 – 4.40pm.

Kirk Session meet this Tuesday evening, 25th February, at 7.30pm in the Archie Agnew Hall.

Wednesday
The Church building is open for private prayer 10.00am – Noon.
Gifts for Storehouse can be left 10.00am – Noon.
Supplies can be left in the trolley in the foyer either on Wednesday morning or before the Sunday service. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Wednesday Welcome‘:- The Hub is open on a Wednesday morning from
10:30 to 12 noon. Anyone is welcome to call in, a warm welcome is assured.

Prayer & Bible Study – continues this Wednesday 26th February at 7.30pm. We will continue the series from last year, as we look at different Bible characters’ encounters with God in relation to prayer. Everyone is made very welcome, so please consider coming along to share together informally and explore God’s Word.

Hobby Hub continues on Thursday afternoons at 2:00 – 4:00pm. This is an opportunity for fun and fellowship while sharing interests and skills in a safe relaxing setting.

Men’s Event: There will be a Coffee morning in The Hub this Friday 28th February starting at 10:30 am. This will be followed by entertainment from the U3A Groomsport guitar ensemble.
Pancake Breakfast: The mission committee and Kidzone will be hosting another pancake breakfast in the Archie Agnew Hall next Sunday 2nd March before church (9:30 a.m. start). Please come along and enjoy this time of fellowship together. Proceeds will be going to the Children’s Hospice. We look forward to seeing you there. Sharon Goldie.

Annual Congregational Meeting on Monday 3rd March 2025 at 7.30pm.
All members are invited to attend, when the meeting will receive the annual reports, followed by entertainment which this year will be provided by Harry Douglas. Harry is a top class young flautist, currently principal flautist in the City of Belfast Youth Orchestra and also Ulster Youth Orchestra. A lively and enjoyable performance is guaranteed! Followed by refreshments.

The first Tuesday Club fundraiser of this year will be held on Tuesday 4th March when the Bangor Ukes are coming to entertain us in the Maxwell Halls at 2.00pm. Tickets are available now at £5 – including refreshments – and can be obtained by ringing 9107 0624, or speaking to Mary, Oliver or Dorothy Johnston. Our chosen charity this year is the Children’s Hospice. We look to you all to support us at our fundraisers and Open Meetings which will be advertised in the pew leaflets. We thank you for your support in the past.

The local World Day of Prayer Service will be held at Ballyholme Presbyterian Church on Friday 7th March at 11.00am. Tea/coffee will be served from 10.30am. All welcome.

PW Coffee Morning will be held in Archie Agnew Hall on Saturday 8th March 10.30-12 noon. We will be delighted to see you.

Wars in Sudan and Democratic Republic of Congo: Thank you for contributing to the relief efforts in Sudan through our partner Christian Aid. We have also received an appeal from Tearfund regarding the conflict in eastern DRC. In both situations there have been large displacements of civilians and they are in need of clean water, shelter and medical supplies. The mission committee have now donated £1,000 to Tearfund. Please keep both Christian Aid and Tearfund in your prayers. Thank you.

New After-Church Coffee/Tea Rota: We would be grateful if you could volunteer to serve coffee/tea after church for one Sunday. Currently we are doing this on the last Sunday of each month, and if you can help Julie Steele on either May or August, please add your name to the list. There are sign-up sheets in the vestibule. Thank you.
