World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement led by Christian women who come together for prayer and action for peace and justice. Their work raises awareness of the lives and concerns of others throughout the world, especially those who write the service.
This year the World Day of Prayer is on Friday 7th March. The programme has been prepared by the women of the Cook Islands. Their theme is “I made you Wonderful”.
Everyone is welcome to join our local service which this year is being hosted in Ballyholme Presbyterian Church. The service begins at 11am and there will be tea and coffee served prior to the service.
